If you are looking to enter, or expand, your business in the equine or veterinary markets, THIN Inc. can help!
Years ago a journalist friend from New York came to Kentucky to work for the local newspaper. To say she was an urbanite was an understatement. When she first visited my small farm in Woodford County, Ky., just 10 minutes outside of Versailles, she said, “You are a pioneer woman living on your homestead.” Little did she know with just that one statement she would not only name my farm, but my future company: The Homestead Information Network, Inc.
Unfortunately the company name is a mouthful, and in these digital times it was too much typing and too many letters to work well for a website or email. So the acronym THIN Inc. became the a way we know the company.
THIN Inc. is also a play on my journalistic roots (see About for more information). Ink is what has made journalism for thousands of years. Today ink on paper is still a great outlet for specific content, but zeros and ones on the Internet now are the currency of digital communication.
THIN Inc.’s motto is Fresh Ideas to Fatten the Bottom Line! In this fast-paced world, marketing relies on looking at new and age-old problems and developing solutions that are multimedia, multidimensional, and often require multiple talents working together to be successful.
